Message: The location. The best thing of the hotel is the location. It is placed in the heart of Manhattan between the 5th and the 6th Avenue.. The hotel. The hotel will send you a link 1 day before your arrival and you will have to check-in in the hotel online. They will send you a code to enter in the hotel and another code for the room, so you will not find a person for the check-in.. The hotel doesn’t have a lift, so if you have a lot of suitcases, it is not ideal! The cleaning service is not included, and they ask an extra 30 dollar for the cleaning if you request. There is a room where you can find the toilet paper, the shower tablecloths, soap and shampoo, so you can change the tablecloths every day without extra cost, and it is possible to borrow room and bathroom cleaning products if you do not want to pay the 30 dollars for the cleaning.. The room. The room are small, and the only window can’t be opened. In the room I had a bed, a wardrobe, a desk, a microwave, a fridge, and a machine to make American coffee. The bathroom had a shower. I thought that I booked a room with a private bathroom, but after I discovered that it was a share bathroom with another room :-(.. The experience. As I said the best things was the location of the hotel with many nice places to have breakfast

Message: Great location and value for right in the middle of Manhattan. Small rooms, but quite clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is ideally central to all points of interest both uptown and downtown. The only real gripe I can make is we had a 4th floor walk-up to our room, but it’s New York, baby. Roll with it. On the plus side, my legs and butt look fantastic.

Message: Good location and access if you are looking for a cheap stay in NYC. The subway is easy to access from the hotel or alternatively 20 minute walk to Times Square and 40 minutes to Central Park. The booking system for the hotel is ok but quite difficult to navigate. We had to spend 15 minutes outside the front door as we didn’t have an access code. Can’t give any more than 2 stars for service as there wasn’t any sight of any staff during our 6 night stay. Room was good size with a clean bathroom. We did find it noisy on a night with people shouting outside and general traffic ect but don’t believe this is a fault of the hotel.

Message: This hotel is in a great location! For spending ten days doing a workshop it suited my needs and price. I wasn’t surprised by the small room or stairs and I am glad I picked a private bathroom. There are a few opportunities here tho: better Wi-Fi please! It was slow and would lag. My laptop wouldn’t log on, then I tried my tablet and no luck. I was only able to use my phone, and had to download shows at other locations to be able to watching without lag in my room. Please invest in some sound proofing! The noise was so so so bad from guests coming in and out of the main entrance and just moving about. Please add a little night light to the night stand. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and the one time I met the front desk person she was very helpful and kind. Overall, I would consider this location again depending on my trip.

Message: Surprisingly nice for the price and can't beat the location. My partner and I stayed here for my birthday and honestly my only complaints were the lack of an elevator (I knew this ahead of time though) and the climate of the room. There's radiator heat piped through the building and a hot pipe in the room raises the temp significantly when it's running. This wouldn't be a problem in the dead of winter or when it's off in the summer. We just happened to be there at that weird time of year. They do provide an overhead AC/heat unit, but like the ones in our past apartment buildings, it was finicky at times. There is a ceiling fan and bathroom vent that can help make a difference though. Just expect to sleep in light clothing if you visit during that odd time of year where it's 35-45°F nights & 45-55°F days. Anyway, to reiterate, otherwise a great experience; room was cozy and felt luxurious. We had a private bath, mini fridge, microwave, and tv available to use.
